The staff are superb. Brenda the waiter seems to work all day and is always very attentive and friendly. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating when we arrived a day early for our stay. Breakfast was very nice. The chef was very flexible and food was lovely. Our room was spotless and extra towels provided for use at the pool. A superb place to stay when trying to relax and escape after camping for the previous 3 nights during our safari.
I loved the outside areas -- garden, seating near the pool, feeling of retreat. I also really liked the staff. They seemed to enjoy working together and were always ready to help me with anything (calling a taxi, getting airtime, preparing meals when it was most convenient for me, etc.). Having hot water for the shower was awesome!
I've never been to a place like that. The atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet, that you can actually see yourself united with the wildlife. We have seen a troop of monkeys, coming very close to us in the morning and a few bushbabies later at night. We also enjoyed the food and the service - staff was very friendly and nice.
